Kórusunk az Ohridi Nemzetközi Kórusversenyen (2023.08.24-28.) ezüst diplomát és a reneszánsz darab legjobb előadásáért járó különdíját nyerte el, melyet Lassus: Deh perché voglio anco di me dolermi – Dunque fia ver dicea című, Ariosto szövegére írt kétrészes madrigáljának előadásáért kaptunk.

A Covid 19-járvány sajnos minket is komolyan visszavetett a munkában, koncertünk a 2019-es Pécsi Advent zárókoncertje óta sajnos nem volt, sőt kétszer 6 hónapra a próbákkal is le kellett állnunk. Ennek ellenére megőriztük a lelkesedést és a két rövid próbaidőszak alatt (2020 őszén két hónap és 2021 tavasz végétől újraindulva) megkíséreltünk felkészülni egy újabb CD-felvételre. A felvétel képei (Dóm Kőtár, Cserkúti Gasztronómiai és Közösségi Élménytér) itt láthatóak.

Unfortunately, the Covid 19 epidemic seriously put us back at work, we haven’t had any concerts since the closing of Advent in Pécs in 2019. What is more, we even had two six-month shutdowns (that is we even had to stop rehearsals). Nevertheless, we maintained our enthusiasm and during the two short rehearsal periods (two months in the fall of 2020 and restarted from the end of the spring of 2021) we tried to prepare for our second CD recording. Április 27-én a kórus az NKA támogatásával megtartotta az immár sokéves hagyományba illeszkedő tavaszi budapesti koncertjét, melyen többek között a szerzők tetszését és elismerését is elnyerve két, az elmúlt télen Pécsett bemutatott darab (Szalai Katalin 2018-as, a kórus számára írt Agnus Dei és Horváth Márton Levente 2016-os A solis ortus cardine című műve) budapesti bemutatója, valamint egy ősbemutató (Győrffy István 2018-as, Mechler Anna versére írt November című darabja, mely szintén a kórusnak ajánlott mű) is megszólalt.
On 27 April our choir held its traditional, annual spring concert in Budapest with the support of NKA (National Cultural Fund of Hungary). For the composers’ pleasure and with their appreciation, among many other pieces, the choir presented also three premieres, two of the pieces (Agnus Dei written for the choir in 2018 by Katalin Szalai and A solis ortus cardine written in 2016 by Márton Levente Horváth) were first performed in Budapest (the pieces were first performed last winter in Pécs), while one of them (November written for the choir on the poem by Anna Mechler in 2018 by István Győrffy) was a world premiere.
